S. Kainth, Director of Oscars Cafe in Birmingham I

The directors of Oscars Cafe found Central Property Repairs when looking for contractors to complete a refitting of their Birmingham based cafe.

“The initial reason for choosing CPR was because they came in three times less expensive than the other contractors we approached for quotations. The project was a sizeable one, with the property needing to be completely gutted so we were particularly keen to save as much as we could. They were extremely accommodating of any design changes we had and impressed us even more when the project was completed on time and less than our initial budget!”

“To have strangers in your home is uncomfortable under any circumstances and we’ve all heard the horror stories that come with builders.
“Thankfully this was not the case with Central Property Repairs and I’m delighted my insurance company recommended them.
“The job was completed to an excellent standard and they worked as quickly as possible which was never reflected in the quality of work done.
“They remained professional throughout the job and I will be both recommending them to others and have since used their services again.”

Mrs Freeman, Insurance Policy Holder

When a sewage leak completely destroyed the bottom floor of her home in Marston Green, Diane Freeman was left facing an extremely stressful situation.

The drainage problem was first discovered in April 2010 when a neighbour alerted Mrs Freeman to a sewage blockage.
Unable to locate the problem, the blockage was later aggravated by a storm and flooded the Freeman’s entire garden and ground floor of their house.
“It was such a mess and we literally had to replace everything in the lounge, hall, stairway and even the garden” Mrs Freeman said.
Mrs Freeman was put in contact with Central Property Repairs through her insurance company and was extremely impressed with their work.
“As you can imagine, it was an extremely stressful situation to be in but Central Property Repairs were fantastic and made the whole ordeal a lot more bearable.”
The team had to strip and replace the existing solid wood floor, remove all skirting boards, decorate throughout and replace all outside decking and slabs.
Mrs Freeman continued, “the job itself was time consuming and invasive but I really couldn’t have asked for a better team to complete the work.
“There were times when I was feeling fraught and wishing it would all be over but the CPR team continued to show a real understanding of my situation.
“And they were not your typical builders at all. They were tidy, well mannered, funny and incredibly skilled, I will definitely be recommending them to others.”
